New York - Critical Media (formerly Critical Mention), a provider of video search and syndication services, on Tuesday launched a private beta of Syndicaster, a free Web-based platform broadcasters can use to quickly post their content online. The service includes text transcripts from the video and other metadata along with the file, which will aid in making the video fully searchable on various engines. The company expects full commercial release of Syndicaster in the U.S. by the end of the year, and internationally in the first quarter of 2008.
