The buzz about the iPhone is deafening. It seems like every blog is writing about it (including this one). One measure of the significant public interest in the iPhone is that the volume of US searches for the term “iphone” increased 583 percent in the past four weeks leading up to the June 29 launch date, according to Hitwise.
