Los Angeles - A federal judge has dismissed a file-sharing case brought by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) against a mother of five who claimed she did not download songs, or know her children had done so, Ars Technica reported.

Washington - The Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) has asked a federal court to reconsider the more than $50,000 in attorneys' fees it awarded a woman the group's member record labels unsuccessfully sued for copyright infringement on file-sharing networks, Ars Technica reported.

San Francisco - EMI's Capitol Records has been ordered by a federal judge to pay the legal fees of a woman it sued for copyright infringement over music file-sharing, after the case against her was dismissed last summer, Wired News reported.
