Buena Vista Games Ships "Desperate Housewives: The Game"

Burbank, Calif. - Disney's Buena Vista Games on Thursday shipped its "Desperate Housewives: The Game" PC title to retailers. Developed by Liquid Entertainment, the game features a script from series writer Scott Sanford Tobis, and Brenda Strong reprising her role in the ABC series as deceased housewife Mary Alice Young.

Burbank, Calif. - Disney's Buena Vista Games announced on Friday that it plans to publish a PC game based on the ABC TV series, "Desperate Housewives". The game will feature the voice talent of Brenda Strong in her role as deceased housewife and narrator Mary Alice Young. "This game allows players to move to Wisteria Lane and live all the gossip, drama and intrigue of a true desperate housewife," said Buena Vista Games SVP and general manager, Graham Hopper. Developed by Liquid Entertainment, the title is scheduled for release in the fall.

Verizon to Sell Mobile Content for ABC's "Lost," "Desperate Housewives"

North Hollywood, Calif. - Verizon Wireless announced on Tuesday that mobile entertainment applications based on content from  ABC's "Desperate Housewives" and "Lost" TV series are now available for download to subscribers with handsets that support mobile TV. Premium content including behind-the-scenes images, character photo galleries, personalized profiles, fan message boards, e-cards, polls, series news, and show trivia will be available for an additional $2.99 per month on top of the $5 monthly charge for Verizon's Mobile Web 2.0 service. ABC is also selling episodes of the programs through Apple's iTunes Store for download to video iPod players.
