Digital Ad Delivery Firm DG Systems Secures $25 Million Credit Facility

Dallas - Digital Generation Systems (DG Systems), a provider of digital media advertising services for the advertising and broadcast industries, announced on Thursday that it has secured a new $25 million credit facility with Wachovia Bank N.A. The company also executed a $35 million commitment from Wachovia, which will allow DG to refinance the debt of FastChannel Networks. DG agreed to merge with FastChannel in December 2005, and assume up to $10 million of the company's debt. Dallas-based DG Systems provides digital media ad delivery technology to a network that includes 5,000 advertisers and agencies, 3,800 broadcasters and over 10,000 radio stations.

Point.360 to Provide Digital Ad Distribution for CBS Television

Burbank, Calif. - Point.360, a provider of video and film asset management services, announced on Friday that it has signed an agreement to provide digital distribution of advertising content for CBS Television. Burbank, Calif.-based Point.360 will distribute ads from companies including Burger King, ConAgra Foods and Nissan across 1,200 television stations, broadcast and cable networks.

Digital Ad Distributor Lightningcast Secures $5 Million in Funding

Alexandria, Va. -- Lightningcast, a Virginia-based developer of a software platform for broadband advertising, said on Wednesday that it has raised $5 million in a new round of funding. New investors Global Internet Ventures and New Markets Growth Fund joined previous investors Nokia Venture Partners and Redleaf Group in the round. The company said that it will use the capital to accelerate product development and expand its sales organization. Lightningcast's core technology, used by major media companies, allows owners and distributors of broadband audio and video to insert streaming ads. Its clients include AOL, Disney/ABC, NPR and MTV.
