Online Payments Provider Bitpass to Shut Down

San Mateo, Calif. - Bitpass, a four-year-old provider of online payment processing services, has announced that it is discontinuing operations, due to "circumstances beyond our control," CEO Matthew Graves wrote in an e-mail to customers.

Digital River to Sell Online Games for NCsoft

Minneapolis - Online retailer Digital River said on Wednesday that it signed an agreement with Korean online game publisher NCsoft to offer several game titles on its Digital River oneNetwork online marketplace.

Digital River to Power Song Store for Fisher-Price "FP3 Player"

Minneapolis - Digital River announced on Tuesday that it has signed an agreement with toymaker Fisher-Price, to provide online sales of downloads of children's songs and stories for the Fisher-Price Kid-Tough FP3 Player. The online store is scheduled to launch in the summer of 2006.
