The "DishFAMILY" service will offer 40 channels -- including Animal Planet, Nickelodeon, Food Network, CNN, Fox News and Trinity Broadcasting Network -- for $19.95 per month. The family-friendly service offerings come after some in Congress have pressed cable and satellite companies to offer a la carte programming, in part so that parents and others may choose not to subscribe to channels they feel offer inappropriate programming.
