Seattle - Melodeo, a provider of mobile content publishing technology, announced on Monday that NPR will use its Mobilcast application to deliver 45 of its radio podcasts to mobile phone users in the U.S. and Canada. Launch titles will include KCRW's "All Songs Considered" and all 24 of NPR's hourly newscasts.

Raleigh, N.C. - Mobile entertainment publisher Oasys Mobile (formerly Summus) announced on Wednesday that it has partnered with The Nickels Group, a digital entertainment production house, to distribute ringtones from Reggaeton Nation and Death Row Records. North Carolina-based Oasys will now offer over 400 reggaeton ringtones and 150 ringtones from Death Row artists including Snoop Dogg, Dr. Dre and Kurupt.

Wayne, N.J. - Audible, a distributor of spoken word audio content, announced on Tuesday that it has signed an agreement to offer seasons two and three of "The Ricky Gervais Show" -- currently the world's most-downloaded audio podcast, according to Guinness. Episodes of the show, from the creators of the BBC series "The Office" and HBO's "Extras," will be available for $1.95 each, or $6.95 for an entire season of at least four weekly episodes.

London - Buongiorno, a European wireless entertainment publisher, announced on Tuesday that it has partnered with image archive Corbis to distribute ringtones, wallpapers and video clips from Universal Pictures films in Europe, Africa and the Middle East. Under the deal, Universal will provide Buongiorno with elements from up to 75 films and TV shows, to be licensed through Corbis and distributed on mobile phones in English, French, Italian, German and Spanish.

London - Union Square Music, which holds the rights to jazz and Latin music recordings on labels including Savoy Jazz, Denon Classics and Egrem, announced that it has signed a digital distribution deal with Vital:PIAS Digital (VPD), which delivers tracks to retailers including iTunes, Napster and MusicNet. The deal includes recordings from artists including Miles Davis, Stan Getz, Ibrahim Ferrer and Compay Segundo.
