Redwood City, Calif. - Electronic Arts announced this week that it has partnered with DTI Software, a provider of in-flight entertainment, to offer "The Sims 2" and titles from its Pogo.com casual games site for play by air travelers. Montreal-based DTI claims 62 airline customers for its in-flight entertainment software.

Baton Rogue, La. -- AirRover Wi-Fi Corp., a wireless Internet access provider, announced on Thursday that it has agreed to acquire California-based software developer Diamond I Technologies (DTI). DTI has developed a hand-held Wi-Fi-based gaming system for on-premises use by casinos, so that patrons would be able to gamble from handheld PDA devices from their rooms or by the pool. Baton Rogue, La.-based AirRover said that it is currently seeking approval from the Nevada Gaming Commission for DTI's technology.
