San Francisco - Ecast, a maker of broadband digital jukeboxes found in bars and restaurants, has secured $12.3 million of an $18.64 million fourth round of venture capital financing, PEHub.com reported, citing a regulatory filing.

New York - Ecast, a maker of Internet-connected digital jukeboxes for bars and restaurants, on Monday announced the launch of the Ecast BarPulse, a monthly survey that will tally the most popular new songs added to its network of over 10,000 jukeboxes. The November report found that Alicia Keys' "No One" was the most popular new song added, followed by "Kiss Kiss feat. T-Pain" by Chris Brown.

ROO Group Inc., a provider of online video solutions for content owners, advertisers and Web sites, today announced the appointment of Simon Bax, Stephen Palley, and Scott Ackerman to its Board of Directors, effective immediately. The additions increase the size of ROO's Board to six members, including four independent directors. The new board members join current members Robert Petty, Chairman and CEO, ROO Group; Robin Smyth, Executive Director, ROO Group and Doug Chertok, an independent director.
