Washington
- A U.S. House Democrat said at a hearing on Wednesday that he plans to
introduce a bill that would limit the use of peer-to-peer file-sharing
applications on government computers, CNET News.com reported. After hearing testimony
that Secret Service safehouse locations, evacuation plans for the first lady,
and IRS tax returns may still be found on file-sharing networks, Rep. Edolphus
Towns (D-N.Y.) announced plans for the legislation.
