- CBS (NYSE: CBS) plans to integrate a video advertisement for its programs and PepsiCo
products into an upcoming issue of the print edition of Entertainment Weekly,
the Associated Press reported. The experimental ad will play on an insert with
a two-inch video screen and embedded speaker, and will be inserted into some
copies of the magazine's fall TV preview issue mailed to subscribers in New York and Los
Angeles.

Alviso, Calif. - Digital video recorder maker TiVo announced on Wednesday that it has partnered with Entertainment Weekly to offer automatic recording of the magazine's 'What to Watch' TV recommendations. The deal will also enable TiVo subscribers to download EW.com original video programming directly to their TiVo boxes. |
