Nintendo DSi Owners Can Upload Photos Directly to Facebook

Redmond, Wash. - Nintendo of America said on Monday that owners of its DSi handheld game system can now upload photos taken with the device's on-board camera to their Facebook profiles. The feature utilizes the Facebook Connect platform, and will make Facebook more accessible to DSi owners, who number over 1.7 million in the U.S. alone.

YouTube Allows Facebook Integration; Videos Post to Profiles

San Bruno, Calif. - Google's (NASD: GOOG) YouTube has integrated the Facebook Connect service, meaning that users can now automatically share their recently uploaded YouTube videos into their friends' feeds on Facebook. The new feature can also update Twitter followers and Google Reader shared items with new YouTube uploads.

Facebook Unveils Facebook Connect Data Portability Feature

San Francisco - Online social network Facebook has introduced Facebook Connect, which allows outside websites and applications to share data back and forth. The company launched the new feature with 24 partners, including Digg, Movable Type creators Six Apart and Citysearch. The feature allows, for instance, Facebook users to sign in to Digg with their Facebook account authentication, and to have news stories they select via Digg, or comments they leave on Movable Type blogs to show up in their Facebook news feeds.
