SanDisk to Offer NBC Universal Content on Fanfare Service

Milpitas, Calif. - SanDisk (NASD: SNDK), a developer of portable audio and video players, said that NBC Universal (NYSE: GE) will make much of its programming available on the company's new Fanfare service, which lets users download video content from their PC for playback on their TV through a special video player. The programming includes current TV shows from NBC, USA Network, SCI FI Channel and Bravo, as well as a library of vintage shows.

Milpitas, Calif. - SanDisk, a maker of flash storage media and portable media players, on Monday introduced the TakeTV Video Player, a device that moves video content from the PC to a TV, and also launched a public beta of Fanfare, an online service that lets users download TV shows, movies and other video content to portable devices.
