Redwood City, Calif. - Video game developer and publisher Electronic Arts announced on Monday that it has made a $167 million equity investment in Chinese online game operator The9, which will give EA an approximate 15% stake in the company. Redwood City, Calif. - Electronic Arts announced on Wednesday that it has signed a multi-year co-development and publishing agreement with Korean game publisher Neowiz. Under the terms, the companies will collaborate on a Korean online game based on EA's "FIFA Soccer" title. The game is being developed at EA Canada for Neowiz, which claims 20 million subscribers and is the publisher of "Special Force," the most popular online game in Korea.
