San Francisco - Fora.tv, a video site focused on political and cultural content, has added $2 million to its first round of venture capital funding, which was first announced in May, VentureWire reported, citing a regulatory filing.

FORA.tv Names Blaise Zerega as President, COO

San Francisco - FORA.tv, a San Francisco-based video site that specializes in political and cultural content, this week named journalist Blaise Zerega as its new president and COO. Zerega, who most recently served as deputy editor of Conde Nast Portfolio, will take the lead in further developing the company's editorial strategy. He also previously was the managing editor of Wired and editor of Red Herring. FORA.tv, which raised $4 million in its first round of funding last May, has content partnerships with C-SPAN, Georgetown University, The Aspen Institute, The World Affairs Council and The Commonwealth Club, among others.

San Francisco - FORA.tv, a provider of online video content "focused on discourse, discussion and debates surrounding the world's most compelling political, cultural and social issues," announced on Tuesday that it has raised an undisclosed sum of seed financing from Adobe Systems, and venture capitalist Will Hearst.
