Los Angeles - Will Ferrell-backed comedy website Funny or Die said this week that their John McCain campaign spoof ad featuring Paris Hilton has been viewed over 6.2 million times, driving site visits to their highest level in company history. "We are excited that this piece has become a hot topic for both the media and the public and we find it insane that Paris has the country discussing energy policy," said Adam McKay, co-founder of Funny or Die, and creator of the Hilton spoof.

You've heard of Funny or Die right? It's the online video site which won almost instant success after co-founder Will Farrell posted "The Landlord" - one of the most viral videos to date with almost 58 million views. But you probably haven't heard that Farrell & Co also are planning to conquer the gaming world with a new site called PwnorDie.com (pwn is gamer slang for beating the crap out of somebody in a game). Like Funny or Die, Pwn or Die will have a celebrity aspect to it with content and interviews from people well known in the gaming space, but the overall goal is really to be a one-stop-shop for gamers with game reviews, walk-throughs and cheats.
