Los Angeles - BlueCollarOrDie, a spin-off comedy site of Will Ferrell-backed FunnyOrDie, has been shut down due to lack of Web traffic, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

Having led some of the most successful recent comedies like Knocked Up, Superbad, and The 40-Year-Old Virgin, Judd Apatow is hoping to bring some of his magic to FunnyorDie.com, Will Ferrell and Adam McKay’s site. Apatow has joined the site as a partner.

It’s practically mandatory for Hollywood’s starlets these days: Invariably you must release a clip of some skin, whether that be a photo (see: Vanessa Hudgens) or, for the truly ambitious, a video (see: Paris Hilton and Pamela Anderson Lee Rock). Seeing the headline “Sex Tape of Celebrity (fill in the blank) Discovered” is like winning a thousand dollars in a scratch off ticket. And this week whispers spread of a sex tape we could only dare to dream about: Eva Longoria’s. No one doubted the legitimacy.
