HBO to Premiere New Season of "Conchords" on FunnyorDie

Los Angeles - Time Warner's (NYSE: TWX) HBO plans to offer a full-length streaming preview of the second season premiere of its "Flight of the Conchords" comedy series on FunnyorDie.com, Variety reports. The preview will be available from Wednesday through Sunday, while the broadcast premiere is slated for Jan. 18.

Los Angeles - FunnyorDie.com, the comedy site backed by Will Ferrell that offers original video programming, has received an investment from Time Warner's (NYSE: TWX) HBO in exchange for a "small equity stake," Variety reports. The deal will also see FunnyorDie create 10 half-hours of programming for HBO, and the two partnering on live comedy tours and possibly FunnyorDie-branded programming on HBO channels.

Will Ferrell, FunnyOrDie.com Launch College Comedy Tour

Los Angeles - Comedic actor Will Ferrell and his FunnyOrDie.com comedy site venture on Thursday announced that Ferrell will host a nationwide college campus comedy tour, along with fellow comics Zach Galifianakis, Demetri Martin and Nick Swardson, to promote the upcoming release of Ferrell's film, "Semi-Pro." Will Ferrell's Funny or Die Comedy Tour will visit seven colleges in February, in the lead-up to the film's release on Feb. 29 by New Line Cinema. FunnyorDie.com will also feature a new video each week before the film's debut, featuring Ferrell and "Semi-Pro" co-star Andrew Daly.

Los Angeles - A follow-up to the popular viral video featuring comedian Will Ferrell getting upbraided by a 2-year-old landlord is slated to premiere on Monday on FunnyOrDie.com. "Good Cop, Baby Cop" will reunite Ferrell with two-year-old actress Pearl, who will be making her final performance before retirement, according to the press release.
