According to Broadcast & Cable, Catherine Mullen, VP & General Manager of Cablevision's Fuse network has resigned to accept another position. Public announcement of Mullen’s departure is expected to be made in coming weeks. Mullen took the Fuse position in January of this year, when she replaced Rob Weiss. Mullen’s manager, Andrea Greenberg, President of Rainbow Media Ventures, is remaining with the company, although there is speculation that her role may be redefined. Before Fuse, Mullen was General Manager at MTV UK and Ireland.

Richard Licursi joined ClearSky Mobile Media, Inc. as its Chairman of the Board.
Licursi is currently a Vice President of Motorola.

New York - Fuse, cable TV provider Cablevision's music video TV network, on Tuesday announced the launch of a new entertainment website. "Just for the F of It" will feature music, gaming and entertainment content that begins with the letter "F". Fuse said it hired Blink-182 bass player Mark Hoppus to serve as "exclusive tastemaker and MC of the site."

Las Vegas - Mobile content and applications publisher InfoSpace said on Tuesday that it has signed an agreement to provide ringtones and games for the Fuse pay-TV music video channel. The content will become available from a Fuse mobile store in the second quarter of 2006.

New York - Cablevision's Fuse cable TV music network announced on Monday that it has signed a deal with MobiTV to offer its programming on the company's mobile TV service for cell phones. The fuseMobile channel will be offered by a national wireless carrier to be named later, although Berkeley, Calif.-based MobiTV recently launched a branded version of its service with Sprint.

New York - Cable TV provider Cablevision's Fuse music television channel announced on Wednesday that it has partnered with interactive marketing agency Deep Focus and social networking site MySpace.com on a music video promotion for unsigned artists. The contest is seeking submissions of unsigned artists' music videos, which will then be voted on by MySpace users, with the winner receiving extensive airplay and promotion on both Fuse and MySpace.

New York - Fuse, the music television cable channel owned by Cablevision, announced on Tuesday the premiere of three new TV series that will utilize text message interactive TV features, powered by technology from Netherlands-based Marketgraph. "Perfect Pair," "Heavy Texting" and "Dumped" are music video shows that encourage users to text information about themselves and their partners to Fuse, in turn receiving personalized return messages and also the chance to see their text messages scroll along the bottom of the screen during the broadcasts.

New York -- Fuse, a cable TV music network operated by Rainbow Media Holdings, announced on Monday that it is doing away with its daily music video countdown show and replacing it with one that measures the daily most downloaded songs from legal Internet services. The show's data on the daily most-downloaded songs will be culled from sources including iTunes, BuyMusic.com and SoundScan. "The Daily Download" will also offer free legal downloads of songs of videos aired during the show, provided by Blue Mountain and Tower Records, in addition to ringtones and other content. The show, which launched on Monday, will in debut episodes feature interviews and live performances from artists including Metallica, The Streets, The Darkness and Jet.
