U.K. Bookmaker Adds Online Skill Games From GameAccount

London - U.K. bookmaker William Hill announced on Tuesday that it has partnered with GameAccount to launch a suite of skill-based online games on its website. Branded games such as multiplayer blackjack, gin rummy and backgammon will be offered, and will be featured in tournaments with guaranteed prize money.

London - GameAccount, a provider of person-to-person online skill-based games, announced on Friday that, after consulting with attorneys, it has closed its site to U.S. citizens to comply with the letter and spirit of the Unlawful Internet Gaming Enforcement Act of 2006.

London - GameAccount, a provider of online skill games networks, said on Tuesday that it has partnered with the U.K. publisher Guardian Newspapers to create a skill games service on the Guardian Unlimited website. The service will allow players to challenge one another in backgammon, blackjack, solitaire and other skill games for real money.
