Bellevue, Wash. - Game publisher NCsoft announced on Tuesday that its massively multiplayer online roleplaying game "Guild Wars," developed by ArenaNet, has now surpassed four million units sold. The company plans to release a new expansion, "Guild Wars: Eye of the North," on Aug. 31

The store will have an in-game interface and allow players to purchase both new game titles as they are released, and items such as additional character slots for their online game accounts.

Bellevue, Wash. - ArenaNet, developer of the "Guild Wars" online game franchise, and Korean video game publisher NCsoft announced on Thursday that they will hold the Guild Wars Factions World Championship video game tournament in August, during the GC Game Convention in Leipzig, Germany. The companies will fly the game's top five guilds from around the world to Leipzig to compete for $100,000 in cash and prizes.
