earlier this week, Nintendo officially announced on Thursday that it will knock
$50 off the price of its popular Wii video game console, which as of Sunday
will retail for $199. Nintendo was the last of the big three console makers to

price cuts on the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360, respectively.
