LG Screens to Power Gas Station TV

Chicago - Destination Media, operator of the Gas Station TV out-of-home digital ad network, said on Monday that it has signed a long-term deal with LG Electronics, which will become the exclusive screen provider for a number of the company's out-of-home marketing networks. As part of the deal, LG will also receive ad placements on Destination Media's networks, which appear at gas station pumps and other locations.

Hughes to Beam Satellite Signage for Gas Station TV

Germantown, Md. - Hughes Network Systems, a provider of broadband satellite network services, said on Monday that it has won a deal to provide digital signage satellite services to Gas Station TV (GSTV). Under the deal, Hughes will mange the broadband satellite network for the company, which provides entertainment, news, local weather and advertising to customers through 20-inch LCD screens at gas pumps.

Gas Station TV Adds ESPN to Filling Station Digital TV Network

Detroit, Mich. - Gas Station TV, an Internet-based digital TV network at gas station pumps, announced on Monday that Disney's ESPN has added content to its roster of programming. The company previously signed a similar deal with Disney's ABC News and ABC-owned affiliates to provide local news, weather and traffic updates.

Detroit - Former executives from Yahoo and advertising agency WPP Worldwide on Monday announced the launch of Gas Station TV, a new venture that will install 20-inch, Internet-based TV monitors at gas station pumps.
