Sunnyvale, Calif. - Yahoo announced on Wednesday that it has signed an agreement with Gawker Media, to include news and entertainment content from the blog network's Gawker, Wonkette, Gizmodo, Defamer and Lifehacker sites on Yahoo News. Yahoo said it will post dozens of stories per day from Gawker Media's sites, which draw a combined audience of 4.5 million visitors per month. "A group of edgy blog titles might not seem a particularly obvious fit with one of the big Internet companies, but Yahoo's developed a measure of geek chic, which makes them the right media partner for Gawker," said Gawker Media publisher Nick Denton.
