Atlanta - Vitrue, a developer of social media video platforms for companies, announced on Monday that it has raised $10 million in its second round of venture capital financing, led by Dace Ventures.

Toronto - QuickPlay Media, a provider of content management and service delivery technologies for mobile TV and video services, announced on Wednesday that it has raised $15 million in its third round of funding, led by Ventures West.

Santa Monica, Calif. - Digital Entertainment Corporation of America, a Santa Monica, Calif.-based digital entertainment studio, has raised $2.5 million of a $5 million first round of venture capital financing, PEHub.com reported, citing a regulatory filing.

Boston - Eons, an online social network targeting users over 50 years old, announced on Tuesday that it has raised $22 million in its second round of venture capital financing, led by Charles River Ventures.

User-Created Ad Technology Developer Vitrue Raises $2.2 Million

Atlanta - Vitrue, a developer of user-created online advertising technology, announced on Monday that it has raised $2.2 million in its first round of venture capital financing. Investors included General Catalyst Partners and Vitrue founder Reggie Bradford, the former president of Tandberg Television and CEO of N2 Broadband. The company also said it has acquired Sharkle.com, an online video-sharing community that claims 100,000 registered users. Atlanta-based Vitrue's applications and services allow consumers to create their own video advertisements for free and manage their brand assets; an ad rating system will also allow users to vote for the most compelling ads on the site.
