iPhone Hacker Goes To Work on a GPS

17-year old New Jersey hacker George Hotz, who unlocked the iPhone so that it can be used on any operator’s network, recently traded his unlocked iPhone for a Nissan 350Z. Now he is off to college with his new car and already working on another project - a GPS for the iPhone.

New Jersey Teen Trades Hacked iPhone for New Car

San Francisco - The New Jersey teen who found a way to crack Apple's iPhone so it will work on networks other than AT&T's has traded his modified iPhone, for a new car and three new iPhones, from a Kentucky-based mobile phone repair firm, the Associated Press reported.
