Global Music International Offers Mobile Warner Music Content in China

Bethel, Conn. - Global Music International, a provider of aggregated music videos and ringtones to the telecom industry, said it has signed a deal with Warner Music China to make its library of ringtones and ringback tones available to Chinese mobile providers. Global Music recently forged an agreement to provide content to China Unicom Newspace, which handles mobile music services for the top Chinese wireless carrier.

Bethel, Conn. - Mobile music distributor Global Music International (GMI) said on Wednesday that it has signed a content licensing agreement with Sony BMG, for the rights to distribute the major record label's library of music and video content in the Chinese mobile marketplace. Connecticut-based GMI recently announced a deal with China Unicom Newspace, to distribute its ringtones and other mobile media to subscribers of China Unicom, the country's second-largest carrier.

Soapbox Mobile, the full-service mobile marketing agency, announced the addition of two key new members to its executive management team. Kristen Fox, Vice President of Professional Services leads the mobile marketing strategies and campaign creative on behalf of Soapbox Mobile clients. Prior to joining Soapbox, Fox was Associate Director, Product, for Mobile ESPN Publishing. Soapbox also announced the addition of Kevin Granath, the new Vice President of Sales & Business Development. Most recently, he headed global ad sales for ESPN's international TV, online and wireless assets.

Global Music International Distributes Mobile Music Videos in Asia

Redding, Conn. - Global Music International (GMI), a provider of music videos from unsigned artists to wireless content distributors, announced on Wednesday that it has partnered with Chinese wireless firms Omnistar and Moli Entertainment, which will distribute GMI music videos on a subscription basis to wireless subscribers in China, Japan, South Korea, Singapore, Taiwan, Hong Kong and Macao. Florida-based GMI also provides music video channels on RealNetworks' Rhapsody and Sprint's PCS Vision services.
