GMG, a producer of massively multiplayer online games (MMOGs), has announced the appointment of Brett Close as company President. Close's first announcement is the appointment of Mary Kirchoff as Senior Vice President of Marketing and Brand Development. Close also welcomes Chaz Sutherland as Art Director. The new employees will be all working from the company's Maynard, MA headquarters.

New President of Curt Schilling’s Game Development Company Announced

GMG Logo Maynard, MA – Brett Close has been named the new President of Boston Red Sox pitcher Curt Schilling’s game development company, Green Monster Games (GMG).  Close brings experience from Midway, Electronic Arts, and VR1 Entertainment to his new job.  GMG’s core focus is on massively multiplayer online games (MMOGs).

Green Monster Games, a developer of massively multiplayer online games (MMOs), today announced its first round of new hires. Steve Danuser has been appointed Director of Community Development/Senior Designer. Danuser will oversee the construction of the company's official website and develop its fan community while reporting directly to GMG's Founder, Curt Schilling.

Guardian Media Group has promoted Simon Waldman to the newly created position of Group Director of Digital Strategy and Development. Waldman was the Director of Digital Publishing for the group’s Guardian Newspapers National Media Division.
