XM Satellite Radio to Broadcast Grammy Awards

Washington - XM Satellite Radio, a provider of subscription radio programming with 5 million subscribers, said on Monday that it has signed a multi-year agreement with the National Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences to provide broadcast coverage of the Grammy Awards. In addition to broadcast coverage, XM will create a monthly show that will feature Grammy-winning artists, and also cover the Academy's charitable efforts.
