Green Monster Games, a developer of massively multiplayer online games (MMOs), today announced its first round of new hires. Steve Danuser has been appointed Director of Community Development/Senior Designer. Danuser will oversee the construction of the company's official website and develop its fan community while reporting directly to GMG's Founder, Curt Schilling.

Red Sox's Curt Schilling, Todd McFarlane Launch Game Studio

Maynard, Mass. - Curt Schilling, the Boston Red Sox pitcher, on Friday announced he has founded a new multiplayer game development studio with Todd McFarlane, the comic book writer and creator of the "Spawn" franchise, and fantasy writer R.A. Salvatore. The new company, called Green Monster Games, is now in pre-production on its first title and is currently looking for employees at its Maynard, Massachusetts offices.
