Park City, Utah - RealNetworks, a provider of media delivery technology, announced on Monday that its newly launched Film.com news and entertainment site will offer a free, streaming full-length independent movie each week.

San Francisco - GreenCine, an online DVD rental service focused on independent films, announced on Monday that it has added sales of new DVDs to its offering. The DVD store is open to members and non-members. San Francisco-based GreenCine features a library of more than 80,000 titles for online rental, and also offers a video-on-demand service.

San Francisco - GreenCine, a San Francisco-based online DVD rental service specializing in independent titles, announced on Tuesday the launch of a broadband video-on-demand and downloadable movie service. The company will offer a Microsoft Windows Media-based video-on-demand service, while its downloadable movies will be sent to customers' PCs using DivXNetworks' Open Video System. GreenCine said it expects to offer additional viewing platforms in the months ahead, and that customers for its new online movie services need not also be subscribers to its mail-order DVD rental service.
