New York - Global Media Services, a provider of live and on-demand video streaming services, announced that it has merged with Seattle-based GridNetworks, a provider of HD Web video delivery services.

Seattle - GridNetworks, a developer of peer-to-peer video distribution software, announced on Monday that it has raised $9.5 million in its first round of venture capital financing, led by Panorama Capital.

Seattle - GridNetworks, a provider of managed Internet TV delivery services, said on Tuesday that it has received an investment from Cisco Systems (NASD: CSCO) that will round out its first round of financing, led by Panorama Capital and announced in October, at $9.5 million.
