Progressive Gaming to Develop "Peer-to-Peer" Casino Poker Machines

Las Vegas - Progressive Gaming International (PGI), a manufacturer of casino gambling machines, announced on Monday that it is developing a "World Series of Poker 'Peer to Peer' Texas Hold'em" game, which will allow casino patrons to play poker on a wired or wireless device on a secure intranet server. Casino owner Harrah's Entertainment granted PGI a six-year license of the World Series of Poker brand, and will install a number of the systems in its casinos.

Harrah's, AOL to Create Co-Branded Poker Site on AOL

Las Vegas - Casino operator Harrah's announced on Monday that it has partnered with America Online, to create a co-branded online poker games site for AOL users. The AOL site will offer World Series of Poker-branded free-play poker games, private poker rooms and tournaments, and reports from World Series of Poker live events.
