New York - Sparta Social Networks announced on Wednesday that Hearst-Argyle Television has launched HighSchoolPlaybook.com, a site that will offer high school sports content and social networking features. Sparta's platform will power the site, which will feature a combination of content from pro TV videographers, users from throughout the country, and specially-trained student journalists equipped with HD cameras. In addition to the site, content will also be broadcast on local news reports from Hearst-Argyle TV stations.
