Report: Text Marketer Kadoink Seized by Creditors

San Francisco - Kadoink, a developer of mobile music marketing widgets that raised $7 million in venture capital in January, has been seized by creditor Hercules Technology Growth Capital after failing to maintain a requisite $2.5 million line of credit, TechCrunch reported.

Palo Alto, Calif. - Specialty finance firm Hercules Technology Growth Capital said on Wednesday that it has provided $20 million in debt financing to Glam Media, which operates a network of lifestyle websites, blogs and magazines aimed at women. The financing was part of Glam's recent $84.6 million funding round.

Palo Alto, Calif. - Specialty finance firm Hercules Technology Growth Capital said on Tuesday that it has provided $20 million in debt financing to Redmond, Wash.-based online gaming network WildTangent. The company powers game services for PC manufacturers such as Hewlett-Packard, Dell, Toshiba and Gateway, as well as a growing number of vertical sites and portals.
