Social Network hi5 Names Bill Gossman as CEO

San Francisco - Hi5, an online social network with over 60 million monthly worldwide unique users, has named Bill Gossman as its new CEO, replacing founding CEO Ramu Yalamanchi, who will become chief product officer. Gossman was previously CEO of Audience Science, a behavioral online advertising firm.

San Francisco - Online social network hi5, which currently claims 62 million monthly unique users, has laid off around 50% of its 100-member staff after failing to secure an anticipated round of new funding, VentureBeat reported.

EMI Sues Social Network Hi5, VideoEgg Over Music Videos

Online Social Network Hi5 Raises $20 Million

San Francisco - Social networking site Hi5 has raised $20 million in a new round of venture capital financing, led by Mohr Davidow Ventures, TechCrunch reported.
