Kuma Reality Games, History Channel Partner on TV-Gaming Series

New York - Kuma Reality Games, a publisher of military-themed online games whose plots are taken from real-world headlines, announced that it has partnered with The History Channel to develop synergistic gaming and TV programming. The second season of The History Channel series "Shootout!," which debuts Nov. 3, will see new online games for each episode that allow viewers to learn of an historical gun battle -- such as Iwo Jima, Battle of the Bulge and the Tet Offensive -- and then play a 3D game re-creation of the battle.

GoldPocket Creates Interactive TV Features for TBS, History Channel

Los Angeles - GoldPocket Interactive, a recent acquisition of Tandberg Television, announced on Thursday that it has created new interactive TV applications for the TBS series "Daisy Does America" and The History Channel special, "Boys' Toys." The TBS series will include mini-games and other elements that users can play along with in real-time on TBS.com, while viewers of the History Channel special will be able to interact both online and via cell phones in polls, trivia and wager challenges.
