- Trade publisher and event producer Nielsen Business Media announced on
Thursday that it has sold its media-related brands, including The Hollywood
Reporter, Billboard and Adweek, to a new venture called e5 Global Media, formed
by private equity firm Pluribus Capital Management and financial services firm
Guggenheim Partners. Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed. The
deal also includes Nielsen's Brandweek, Mediaweek, Backstage and Film Journal International,
as well as its Clio Awards, ShoWest, ShowEast, Cinema Expo International and
CineAsia trade shows, and is expected to close by the end of the year.

Radio, Television and Film (SARFT) to distribute its content with the state-run
