London - Hutchison Whampoa's U.K. mobile network operator 3 UK announced on Monday that it will offer the touch-screen HTC Hero smartphone bundled with music streaming service Spotify.

London - Hong Kong billionaire Li Ka-shing confirmed this week that he has purchased a minority stake in ad-supported streaming music service Spotify for an undisclosed sum, Forbes.com reported.

INQ Mobile to Release "Twitter Phone" in the Fall

Helsinki - INQ Mobile, a unit of Hong Kong's Hutchison Whampoa that makes mobile phones, said on Tuesday that it will introduce a mass-market "Twitter phone" in the fall, Reuters reported. The handset will connect to the Internet to let users send and view tweets. INQ previously released the INQ1, which was dubbed the "Facebook phone" for its mass-market appeal and integrated Facebook features.
