Are you working in online media and don't know what an LOLcat is? Shame on you. GETV compares it to going to France and not knowing what’s inside an escargot shell. This is serious business! The I Can Has Cheezburger? (ICHC for short) site is one of the most popular lolcat websites on the internet, receiving as many as 2 million page views per day, according to Wired. The fad has put founders Eric Nakagawa (Cheezburger), a blogger from Hawaii and his partner, Kari Unebasami (Tofuburger) on the VC map. ICHC was reportedly acquired by Ben Huh and his Seattle-based internet company Pet Holdings for $2 million last year.
