Interact-TV Names George Merrick as CEO

Westminster, Colo. - Interact-TV, a developer of Linux-based home entertainment servers, announced on Monday that it has named George Merrick as CEO, replacing Ken Fuhrman, will remain the company's chairman. Merrick has previously served as chief executive of Advanced Rendering Technology Ltd. and Com21.

Interact-TV Debuts TravelTelly Portable Multimedia Player

Las Vegas - Interact-TV, a developer of Linux-based consumer electronics, on Friday introduced its TravelTelly Portable Multimedia Player at the Consumer Electronics Show. The $325 device features a 3.5-inch screen and a 20GB hard drive. Colorado-based Interact-TV did not provide a release date for the player.
