Sundance Festival Taps Internap for Web Video Streaming

Atlanta - Internap Network Services, a provider of Internet business services, announced on Tuesday that for the seventh year in a row it has been selected as the official provider of online video streaming services for the 2008 Sundance Film Festival. The Sundance Film Festival's official website will allows users to view independent short films, filmmaker interviews and daily video highlights from the annual Festival. The 2008 Sundance Film Festival runs January 17-27, in Park City, Salt Lake City, Ogden and Sundance, Utah.

Internap to Deploy Microsoft Silverlight Players on Radio Station Sites

Atlanta - Internap, a provider of content delivery network and other digital media services, said on Wednesday that it has partnered with Microsoft to launch live audio players built on Microsoft's Silverlight platform for its radio station group customers. The Silverlight players will enable real-time online ad insertion on sites for radio station groups including Citadel Communications, Univision and Radio One.

Internap Network Services Corporation, a provider of businesses on the Internet, today announced that Vincent J. Molinaro has been named Chief Operating Officer, effective April 16, 2007.  Mr. Molinaro will lead all marketing, sales, as well as the company's newly established business units, which include IP Services, Colocation, Content Delivery Networks and Advertising Services.

Internap to Acquire Streaming Services Firm VitalStream for $217 Million

Atlanta - Internap Network Services, an Atlanta-based provider of performance network services over the Internet, has agreed to pay $217 million in stock to acquire VitalStream, a California-based provider of audio and video streaming services. Under the agreement, Internap will issue about 11.9 million shares of common stock. Internap said that by combining the two companies' product lines it will be able to meet the needs of customers seeking to both deliver rich media content and monetize that content.
