London - Universal Music Group/Island Records recording artists Keane will ship the first single to be released on USB flash drives, the BBC Online reported. The U.K. band will sell 1,500 512MB flash drives containing MP3 copies of its song "Nothing In My Way" later this month for about $7.50. "We're definitely testing the waters," Island Records general manager Jon Turner told the BBC. The single is not the first USB drive release, however, as Canada's Barenaked Ladies offered an album on a USB drive last year.
