Online VOD Service Jaman.com Adds Lionsgate Films

San Mateo, Calif. - Web video-on-demand service Jaman.com on Tuesday announced a deal with Lionsgate, to distribute a large collection of the film studio's titles on its service. A number of titles will be made available for free, ad-supported streaming, while premium feature-length movies from Lionsgate, including "Dogville," "Reservoir Dogs" and "Requiem for a Dream," will be available for download rental for between $2.99 and $3.99 each.

Online VOD Site Jaman.com Adds Paramount Movies

San Mateo, Calif. - Jaman.com, an online video-on-demand service, announced on Tuesday that it has signed a deal with Paramount Digital Entertainment, to make a range of films from the Viacom-owned (NYSE: VIA) studio available for rental or purchase from Jaman. Titles covered under the agreement include "Cloverfield," "There Will Be Blood," "Sweeney Todd" and "Into the Wild."

San Mateo, Calif. - Web movie download and streaming service Jaman.com on Tuesday announced new deals to offer films from First Look Studios and Magnolia Pictures on its site. New additions include "Enron: The Smartest Guys in the Room," "Capturing the Friedmans," "Mayor of the Sunset Strip" and "Antonia's Line."

Jaman.com Offers 100 Free, Ad-Supported Streaming Films

Users can choose either the free, streaming versions or pay $1.99 to download high definition versions.

San Mateo, Calif. - Jaman.com, an online movie download service that features high-definition, international and independent films, announced on Friday that it will offer new films in the fall through distribution deals with Dreamachine, Trust Film, Fortissimo and Fortune Star. The new additions include films by directors such as Bernardo Bertolucci, Wim Wenders, David Cronenberg, Woody Allen and Lars von Trier.

Toronto - Jaman.com, an online community and video-on-demand service for international films, said on Tuesday that it has signed an agreement to add Asian movies from Fortissimo Films to its service. Under the deal, works from directors including Shunji Iwai (Japan), Oxide and Danny Pang (Hong Kong), Clara Law (Hong Kong), Hur Jin-ho (South Korea) and Tian Zhuangahuang (China) will now be available on Jaman.com

Jaman.com World Cinema Site Streaming Films Screening at Tribeca

San Mateo, Calif. - Jaman.com, an online community for world cinema, announced on Wednesday that it is streaming several full-length feature films screening in the International Showcase portion of the 6th annual Tribeca Film Festival. The films -- including "A Guest of Life" (Hungary), "The Tree" (Argentina) and "The Optimists" (Serbia) -- are being offered for free on a limited, rolling basis during the film festival.

Jaman.com Launches Peer-to-Peer Network for Indie Film Distribution

Palm Desert, Calif. [DEMO 07] - Jaman.com on Tuesday introduced its secure peer-to-peer network for the distribution of feature-length international and American independent films. San Francisco-based Jaman said the 1,000 films it has licensed so far can be downloaded in "better-than-DVD quality" via its proprietary player to a Mac or PC, and viewed on a home theater system. Movies are currently free to rent during the beta period, but will eventually cost $1.99 to rent and $4.99 to purchase.
