Bedminster, N.J. - Wireless entertainment publisher Jamdat Mobile on Friday announced the release of its mobile game version of Sony Computer Entertainment America's "SOCOM; U.S. Navy SEALs Mobile Recon." The game is available for Verizon Wireless subscribers for $7.49, or else $3.99 for monthly access.

Jamdat Mobile Launches Cell Phone Version of "Doom" PC Game

Los Angeles - Wireless entertainment publisher Jamdat Mobile on Thursday announced the launch of "Doom RPG," a mobile roleplaying game for cell phones based on the popular PC game from id Software. Co-developed by id and Fountainhead Entertainment, the game will be distributed by Jamdat to a range of U.S. wireless carriers.

Jamdat Mobile, ATI Partner on 3D Mobile Games

Los Angeles - Mobile entertainment publisher Jamdat Mobile announced on Tuesday that it has partnered with chipmaker ATI Technologies to develop new 3D wireless entertainment applications. The deal calls for Jamdat to support ATI's Imageon 3D graphics in its titles, which include "Jamdat Bowling 3D" and "Tony Hawk's Pro Skater: 3D Mobile Edition."

Jamdat Mobile to Create Game Based on the Dakar Race

Los Angeles - Mobile entertainment publisher Jamdat Mobile announced on Wednesday that it has signed a long-term licensing agreement with the Amuary Sport Organization, to create a wireless game based on the Dakar Race -- an event launched in 1978 that combines cars, bikes, quads and trucks in a race across Africa. Separately, Los Angeles-based Jamdat said it has launched its game library in India through an agreement with Reliance Infocomm, which claims 10 million customers in India.
