Report: AOL Fires Several Dozen Platform-A Employees

New York - Just two weeks after hiring former Google executive Jeff Levick as its new head of ad sales, Time Warner's (NYSE: TWX) AOL reportedly has fired several dozen employees from its Platform-A online ad division in a move that one inside source called a "bloodbath," the blog Silicon Alley Insider reported.

Dulles, Va. - Just weeks after taking the reigns at AOL, Tim Armstrong on Thursday named a former colleague at Google (NASD: GOOG) as the unit's new head of advertising.
