Los Angeles - A new bill in the House sponsored by a pair of
bipartisan lawmakers would affix cigarette-type warning labels to video games
with a "Teen" rating or higher, GamePolitics reported, citing the San
Bernardino Sun. Reps. Joe Baca (D-Calif.) and Frank Wolf (R-Va.) are
co-sponsoring the Video Game Health Labeling Act of 2009, which would create a
new rule within the Consumer Product Safety Commission adding a label reading
"WARNING: Excessive exposure to violent video games and other violent
media has been linked to aggressive behavior" to certain titles.
