Los Angeles - Live video streaming service Justin.tv has created a Facebook application that lets users watch and broadcast live video streams on the social network. The application allows users to interact with the video stream, making comments that appear as status updates.

Pembroke Pines, Fla. - A Florida teen committed suicide on Tuesday and broadcast the event on the Internet via his live webcam feed on Justin.tv, NewTeeVee reported.

Justin.tv Gets Legal Threats Over Soccer Match Webcam Feeds

San Francisco - Personal video webcasting service Justin.tv has been served with legal threats by the broadcast rights owners to the English Premier League, Britain's top soccer league, CNET News.com reports. Setanta Sports has threatened to sue San Francisco-based Justin.tv, which allows anyone to broadcast a live video feed from their computer webcams, because some users have pointed their webcams at their televisions during soccer matches -- essentially offering a pirated transmission of a pay-TV signal. One such recent webcam feed of a Manchester United match drew over 167,000 hits.
