Capcom Buys "Tenchu" Developer K2, Acquires MotoGP Rights

Tokyo - Japanese video game publisher Capcom announced that it will acquire fellow game developer K2, creators of the "Tenchu" series.

K2 Network to Publish Korea's Most Popular Online Game in U.S., Europe

Irvine, Calif. - Online game publisher K2 Network said on Tuesday that it will launch Korea's most popular massively multiplayer online game in the U.S. "Granado Espada" was developed by imcGames, which also created "Ragnarok Online," and licensed to K2 from Hanbitsoft. The game will be re-titled "Sword of the New World" for the U.S. and European markets, where it is set for release in the summer.

Double Fusion to Serve In-Game Ads for K2's "War Rock" PC Title

San Francisco - Double Fusion, a provider of in-game advertising services, said on Monday that it has partnered with online game publisher K2 Network, to offer sponsorships and in-game ad placements within K2's forthcoming "War Rock" massively multiplayer PC game. The multi-year partnership will also allow marketers to sponsor tournaments, maps and in-game assets. "War Rock" is slated to launch on Feb. 7.
